After 16 years as a multi-award winning hairdresser in three states, I made Melbourne my home in 2006 and decided to venture down a new path as Salon Co-ordinator.
My role in the salon is to organise our team and their appointment schedules to create maximum productivity, while ensuring our clients are happy and receiving optimum service.
As part of the Kaye Rubi management team my role also includes marketing, administration and business development.
I love being a part of such a creative and enthusiastic team and having the opportunity to continue to be included in an ever-evolving industry. |

Specialising in hair extensions, creative colour, precision cutting and long hair styling, I have been in the hair industry for eight years and still thriving from the creativeness that hair brings me.
Throughout my career I have accomplished advanced training in both the cut and colour fields, one of which I had the pleasure of working with Dario Cotroneo, indulging in his 3 Stage Advanced Styling course.
As a stylist my abilities range from commercial glamour through to creative funk - a broad spectrum, catering for any need or want.
When you're in my chair it's all about you and what you want, with the guidance of my professional eye.
I work towards what you need and will bring out your best features - which may be hidden! I also give you great insight into product knowledge that will help you keep your investment in top condition in between visits.

I specialise in bio-ionic permanent straightening and relaxing, creative colour, colour correction, precision cutting, permanent wave techniques and long hair styling.
Transforming my clients hair and creating a whole new look keeps me motivated.
I started at Kaye Rubi Hairdressing as an apprentice, and here I am 9 years later and still loving it!
The salon has come a long way in the time that I've been here, and I'm proud to have been a part of the changes, especially our big renovation in 2006.
I also attend lots of advanced training courses throughout the year to keep abreast of what's new in the industry so I can pass my knowledge and skills on to my lovely clients.

With 18 years experience in all aspects of hairdressing, I am London trained with several diplomas in skin care, colouring and creative cutting, and I have a flair for wedding hair and upstyles. My aim is to understand your needs and give you the most suitable style for you to re-create at home, along with prescriptive products to maintain your style. My promise is that you will leave the salon feeling the best you've ever felt, having found a stylist that really listened to your needs, and you will want to come back!

I
was born into a hairdressing family in Japan, and after 10 years working at my father's salon I moved to Australia.
One of our policies in Japan was that the client be as relaxed as possible during their visit, thus we eased their stress with Shiatsu massage. I have continued this in Australia and my clients can enjoy a Shiatsu head, neck and shoulder massage as an extra service.
I specialise in cutting Asian hair and am an expert in Bio Ionic Straightening. My other specialties include permanent waving, precision cutting and hair extensions.
I also love to talk food, and am happy to share my Japanese recipes!

The new millenium brought with it a new career path for me into the amazing world of hair. I'm now following my true passion and couldn't be happier. I love my clients and enjoy looking after them and all their hair needs. Being an artistic and creative person with an eye for fashion, the hairdressing industry was always something I aspired to be a part of, and I found my dream job at Kaye Rubi in May 2007.
I love being able to help clients by prescribing products to suit their specific needs, and indulge them with my relaxing pressure point scalp massage.
As a junior colourist I love the creative aspect of what it has to offer and I attend weekly training to further my skills both as a colourist and stylist.
I enjoy fashion forecasting and contributing ideas to our Artistic Team to keep abreast of the latest ideas in hair design.

All the way from Wellington, New Zealand, I started an overseas adventure, fell in love with Melbourne's vibe and have made it my home.
I've always been especially passionate about hair, and finally got the courage to abandon in a lucrative career in finance to pursue my dream of being the most innovative, creative and unique hairdresser in Melbourne. I've been lucky enough to find the best place and people to learn the skills required to take me there. I have a special interest in colour and how to bring out the best and most beautiful in everyone.
